Hello friends of the TSO,
Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a symphony orchestra?
Come and spend an informal evening with Torbay Symphony Orchestra and get a glimpse into the creative process as we rehearse, explore and play some thrilling music!
We will be working on excerpts from Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring (which we will be performing in November) and a full play through of Beethoven’s iconic 5th Symphony, alongside two first performances of music by two local composers - the 1st movement of Will Carnell’s symphony and a brand new work by TSO’s very own Jenny Wigram.
Expect an entertaining, relaxed and informative evening of music and conversation - no formal concert, just a chance to experience what we do every Thursday night. Please do join us! We would love to have the opportunity to spend some informal time with our audience.
There will be a pay bar, great music and a warm welcome waiting for you all!
